This is an absolutely beautiful image. i arrived at your page after hunting around the internet for generic pictures of Hawaii. i'm a member of a Halau in Oregon and would ask a huge boon - would you allow me to use this image as the cover of the mix CD that i am compiling for my Hula sisters? i keep track of and put together the music we use to dance to, and am looking for creative commons or free use license images to use as artwork to decorate the disks. They are not sold to anyone, just given to the dozen girls in my Halau so they can practice their dances. If the answer is "no", i completely understand and respect that decision; i am not a great photographer but i dabble in the visual and written arts and i understand the issues surrounding control of one's work.
Thanks for your time and the chance to see such beautiful imagery!
Nature photographer, Robert Frutos offers a unique vision. With sensitivity and awareness, he draws from the world around him and communicates through his photographs a special vision of clarity, serenity, and joy.
Robert refers to his work as "Moments of Grace."
"These moments invoke a sense of inner clarity, radiant well-being, expanded awareness and deep inspiration. They suggest our uniqueness, confirm our part in a whole, instill in us gratitude and a reverence for all life. In these moments, a spiritual connectedness can take place and you can capture and convey that special experience and relationship with nature through your photographs."
"I attempt to capture and convey, the subtle beauty before us, revealing our spiritual connectedness—and further attempting, through the medium of a photograph, to inspire that connectedness in others. When my images radiate a palette of light that both inspires and calms, then I have succeeded."
The Hawaiian Islands are one of the planets greatest natural wonders. And it is a deep blessing to live here and share with others its great wonder and beauty.
